Rajiv Malhotra analysis and refutation of common statements by
"well-wishers" of Hinduism or "proud Hindus who are glad the World is
absorbing Hindu ideas".
0) Many Missionaries are trying to assimilate Hinduism through Syncretism.
Giving external appearance of another religion to make new and potential converts feel-at-home.
Slowly in later generations the converts are brought along to give up degenerate customs and adopt pure original customs.
1) Digestion is not the same as "Change of Heart and Mind".
Taking apart another religion or culture to absorb bits useful to predator culture and throwing away the rest by denigrating and decimating it. Prime examples are 'Christian Yoga' and 'Christian Classical Dance'.
2) Western U-Turners come to India, adopt customs etc in full sincerity for many years.
Suddenly they change their mind and go back to their original religion.
Hinduism is not conversion-based so there is not much interest in converting Westerners except for those people who look upto 'Gora-Lok' for each and everything.
If THEY are becoming Hindus THEN we Hinduism is something to be proud of.
Positive:
a) "All religions are the same" :
Counter-argument - If ALL religions are same then worshipping Maa Kali is same as any other god of other religion. This is something which will throw all such goody-goody talk to the winds.
b) "Hinduism is not a religion - It's a way of Life".
As per their belief you don't have a chance of going to Heaven if you're not a member of their club.
Ours is a "distributed open source" religion where any person can realize the truth. There is no draconian blasphemy law as in other religions to stop people from evolving spiritually.
Whereas other 2 major religions are History-Centric, Prophet-based and membership-based.
In our religion there is no Heaven or Hell (Swarg and Narak are NOT permanent) and __each and every being__ is on its way to re-discovering its own Sat-Chit-Anand.
Statements which appear to be benign on the surface are meant to give a false sense of unity to the victims as they strike at the very core of Hindu beliefs. To fragment and to dis-identify Hindus from their roots.
The real intention of these statements is Disarming the target into a false sense of complacency for an easy takeover.
Negative:
1) Equating all bad things with Hinduism to prove that Hinduism is the cause.
